Sew Chick: Art Quilt Adventurer

Sew Chick: Art Quilt Adventurer
Hi Elle, I just started my first blog today. (Grammy's-blog) Still not sure how this all works. I know what you mean about wanting to get unfinished projects completed. I finally sat down and made a list and discovered that I have 14 quilts on the back burner. No wonder I'm tired!

Welcome to Grammy's BLOG

Here I am on the farm in Bellingham, Washington. Spent the morning sewing sheep coats. Yes, that is right -- coats to keep the fleece warm and clean. I make them out of a nonwoven fabric used for weatherbreakers. Sheep look so cool in their bright red or blue windbreakers.

Also enjoying watching the lambs today frolicking in the pasture. The little male ram is all ram! If he can't find another sheep to butt into, he butts into the trees. His little sister is all black and very dainty. They both seem to have springs in their feet because sometimes they jump straight up into the air.

Repaired a quilt for my grandson Simmy. Also recently finished a DarthVader quilt for my grandson Micah. Darth Vader is completely surrounded in flames. Very cool.

I would love to hear from other farmers or other worlds. God bless you today!
